COMMENTS:  This is our first day with 6 tin cans on the scent wheel.  My criteria is still that Lily move around the wheel to look for the scent.  With the scent wheel sitting on the foot stool, Lily has no problem moving and looking for the scent, so now we will go back to testing the scent as our criteria.  She demonstrates confidence when finding the scent by volunteering duration until the click releases her.

In retrospect, I wish that I had introduced the larger wheel on the footstool from the beginning, giving her a smaller surface to circle.  "How can I make it easier?"

QUESTION:  Between targets 1 and 2, Lily does spend time at container #6.  In an attempt to remain uniform in our data collection, would you have considered that a false positive?  I was unsure, so gave it a pass.  Comments, please?

EQUIPMENT UPDATE: The 3-in-one lids arrived today from Hill's.  Here is the completed 24" scent wheel.
